Can you tell us about that?Ben: With pleasure! We provide a service that often requires highly specialist and bespoke advice. Therefore it is even more important that our processes are as efficient as possible so that we can devote our time to the real complex problem-solving for clients. We have embarked on an IT strategy which will ensure that we achieve that as well as communicate easily with all those we work with in a way that is convenient, secure and sustainable."...a sweet future awaits the early adopters like Farrer & Co of LexisNexis's Streamline system."As quoted in The TimesQ: What new services are you providing?Adam: The objective behind our recruitment drive was to enhance and connect some of our existing services in order to provide seamless support to clients. We have acquired expertise in property finance, construction, corporate tax and in services for property developers as well as enhancing some existing areas such as private equity, private client, corporate, disputes and family.We will continue to respond to changing requirements such as helping individuals and families find new approaches to resolving very personal problems through mediation and collaboration where appropriate, and for organisations which are looking to ensure that their property is at the leading edge in terms of meeting environmental requirements. If the firm were a famous person, who would it be?The firm is ranked as Top Tier in the country for: Agriculture, Charities, Defamation/Reputation Management, Heritage Property, Media & Entertainment, Mergers & Acquisitions (smaller deals) and Schools according to the legal directories' feedback. We are the first UK firm to have selected CryptoCard, a leading security system which protects remote access to our network, replacing the more "traditional" security systems and ensuring our system's security is best in class. Q: The legal market in the UK has been undergoing dramatic changes. How are you improving your service to your clients?Ben: We are very alive to the fact that, in a changing marketplace that affords more choice than ever before, we need to continue to innovate and improve to retain the loyalty of our clients.We will continue to be guided by what is in the long-term interests of our clients and our investment in efficiencies and our people goes some way towards that. But we will also continue to lead the thinking in our specialist sectors - and we are always delighted that such a high proportion of people here achieve 'Leaders in their Field' status each year.
