SINGLE PLY SYSTEMS The mechanical fix option for either single ply system makes it possible to independently remove all the component parts of the system. If only the membrane needs renewal, but the insulation and vapour barrier are still sound, then this element can be replaced separately. All our single ply production waste is recycled into the manufacturing process, enabling us to keep the use of raw materials to a minimum. Our manufacturing production plant uses closed rotation cooling systems which drastically reduces water consumption and avoids environmental pollution. The systems are automated and concentrate on recycling waste and by- products and reducing emissions. FPO Membranes This product is recognised as having significant environmental advantages over PVC systems. FPO membranes can be recycled at the end of their serviceable life by returning them to the manufacturing process to be used ENVIRONMENTAL CREDENTIALS instead of raw materials. If the FPO membranes have become contaminated by external agents, then their disposal by incineration is required. In this instance, their combustion does not cause any environmental problems as any gases released are neutral; additionally it now becomes a useful source of energy. PVC Membranes When PVC waterproofing membranes are recycled they can be converted into other components such as protective or separation layers. Insulation The Bauder insulation has extremely high thermal efficiency and is CFC and HCFC free. It has zero ODP and a Global Warming Potential of just 4.928KgCO2- Eq/ Kg.
